As an NHS wig supplier, our role is to provide essential support and assistance to individuals who are going through medical treatments or dealing with hair loss due to various health conditions.

I just want to start off by saying how lovely all the staff were, as soon as we arrived we were instantly greeted by a smiling face and we felt comfortable. We attended today as my daughter needed a wig, she hasn't left the house in around 7months due to low confidence and for the first time today I saw her smile again! Rebecca, the lady who fitted my daughters wig was lovely, she explained everything and went out of her way to make my daughter smile again, she addressed all our questions and worries and went above and beyond to suit the wig to my daughters face!

My second visit to purchase a wig today, the lady who helped me choose couldn’t have been more helpful. I fully recommend this salon to anyone needing a wig for hair loss or other reasons thank you !!

I bought my Wig from Morgan’s prior to chemo starting. Now that I’ve lost the majority of my hair I wanted further support about the ‘fit’ of my wig. My appointment today with Claire provided me with guidance for my wig, a trim for my halo, and advice on accessories (I bought a silicon headband). I also bought a new brush and a PICC line cover as my PICC is fitted soon. More than all this however is that Claire provided me with reassurance - which was very much appreciated.

When are NHS Wigs Free?

A free wig may be available to you if:

You are staying in hospital as an inpatient and you are in the hospital when the wig is supplied
You or your partner are claiming particular benefits such as income support
You have an NHS tax credit exemption certificate
You are named on a HC2 certificate
You are under 16 years of age or aged between 16 – 19 and in full-time education

Please contact your local hospital if you aren’t sure about the hospital’s policy as many NHS trusts have their own contracted suppliers who will be able to provide you with a full supply and fitting service, as we do for our clients through the NHS.

NHS prescriptions are only redeemable in person and cannot, unfortunately, be used for payment online or through the phone.
